When we make a flight to give medical care and share the gospel to people in remote areas, we fly anywhere from 300 to 500 miles one way.  This would be the equivalent of taking a 5 to 8 hour road trip in the USA.

The road trip here will take 14 to 24 hours by bus but only 1 ½ to 3 hours by air.  Quite a difference in time savings.

The cost to make a flight varies based on the destination but is usually around $300 to $500 dollars in fuel.

If we can make 1 to 2 flights per week, we have a much better chance to establish and maintain close bonds with the people.

In essence, visiting the people on a proactive basis rather than flying when a call comes in to transport a patient.

In this way, the people become better acquainted with us and we become their friends.  As a friend, we can introduce the gospel message and with recurring flights we can keep in contact and expand the influence of the gospel to a greater set of people.

The word will spread about the medical services and friendly people coming to help them.

Any amount you give, especially on a monthly basis will help us maintain this consistent presence in the villages and towns across the Bolivian landscape and mountain regions.
